The missing person may be in Syria or outside it, and it is not necessary that a specific time has passed since his disappearance, such as those who went missing in displacement movements (such as Syrians who fled the war and disappeared on migration routes, or in the waters of the Mediterranean), or natural disasters (such as an earthquake, etc.)

Unfortunately, the numbers of missing Syrians continues to rise, exacerbating the psychological toll on the families missing loved ones as they grapple with feelings of helplessness, frustration, and despair. In their quest for answers, Syrians have resorted to sharing photos of their missing loved ones on social media platforms like Facebook groups, WhatsApp, and Telegram. However, these public forums lack adequate security measures, leaving individuals and families vulnerable to exploitation and the unwanted exposure of their personal information.
